TVLand has renewed its hit sitcom Hot in Cleveland for a fourth season, just before Betty White’s 90th birthday. Additionally, the cable network will be turning the series into a franchise, by picking up the still-untitled Cedric the Entertainer spinoff to series. The project, from Cedric and Cleveland creator Suzanne Martin, focuses on his character Reverend Boyce as he moves to St. Louis. The role originated in an August episode of the original comedy, which effectively served as a backdoor pilot for the spin-off.
