Actress Summer Glau, a favorite of cult sci-fi television series including (but not limited to) Firefly, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles & Dollhouse, will be guest starring on a slightly more conventional series later this season.  Glau will in fact appear on an episode of medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, according to the Twitter account of showrunner/creator Shonda Rhimes, in an as-yet-undescribed role. Perhaps working on The Cape soured her to cult television series? Let’s hope not.
