Well, that was fast. HBO has handed a quick renewal to freshman drama Luck after a preview and a premiere on Sunday. The network says that it is very happy with the critical reception the David Milch-written and Michael Mann-directed drama received. Really? Because most reviews I read said it was an incomprehensible, inaccessible mess.
